A knife hinge that carries the door on a single pivot pin — top and bottom — so the only thing visible from the front is a thin brass line at the edge. No barrel, no leaves stamped across the face. The door appears to swing on nothing.

This is the hinge for the maker who doesn't want the hardware in the conversation. A client looks at the cabinet and sees the wood, the grain match, the door that closes flush and dead-level — and never thinks about how. That invisibility is the whole point, and it's why this hinge ends up on the pieces people photograph. The brass does the work and takes none of the credit.

Solid brass and machined to the thou so the door sits where you set it and stays square. Sold as a matched pair (2 hinges).
