I was looking for a beautiful hinge for an up-coming project, and Brusso hinges appeared in my search. I like to support American businesses, especially when they are family run.
Initially, I was struck by the beauty and weight of the hinges. The ease of movement of the hinge convinced me that it was the wise choice.
These were perfect for a commissioned humidor. Quality and finish were exceptional, 100% recommend I've used Brusso hardware for high end projects for years and there is no good reason to shop elsewhere for those projects.

This is by far my most used hinge. I use the brass template they used to carry and they go in great! Route before assembly!🤩

I like the hinges very much, however, using a template would speed things up AWA insure consistency. The lack of templates seems to be an issue with your company. Speaking of which, I probably won't order your latches anymore unless you make the template available for that item. Why are the templates unavailable?

Bees wax in the tin isn't as easy to use as a lump of wax.

I've known about screw wax for many years but never felt I needed to use it. After breaking a brass screw while putting it in I reconsidered the wax and ordered some. WOW!! Screws now go in effortlessly! I definitely recommend it!
This knife has made all the difference in my project layout, especially when marking for hinges on all of my boxes.. I was using a razor blade before, but this gives you dexterity and smaller marks for better accuracy
I've been using the hinges to make jewelry boxes, and I find them solid, and each hinge matches the opening of the next hinge.
Bought about a dozen of your hinges over the years - always top notch / bought two of the jewelry box knobs and they don’t disappoint. Your products are the epitome of “ you get what you pay for “ and they’re worth every penny !!.

I am disappointed that this is out of stock and Brusso has no current plans to bring it back into production. This is used to install the latch JB-818. If Brusso isn't going to continue support for the installation of the latch JB-818 this should be disclosed.

' stop brass hinges were ever going to be available again but no reply. the jb107 is my favorite hinge and it looks like maybe you have discontinued them, which would be a real bummer. please let me know, thank you
The stop hinges were exactly what I needed to complete the jewelry box. The hinges are of excellent quality and accent the top nicely.
Hinges are great but it would be nice if you provided a couple of steel screws along with a few more brass screws

I have built around 40 jewelry boxes over the past many years. I have always used the JB103. If I'm putting as many hours into a project as I do, I want to use the best hinge that money can buy and that is Brusso.
