     "My father served in North Africa and Italy in WWII. After he passed away, I wanted a fitting tribute to honor both of my parents. I chose to use my father’s mother’s cedar hope chest for the source wood and the Brusso JB-102 hinges in the case and lid. The plans came from the Woodsmith August 2014 edition."
