The L-23 brass offset pivot hinge is employed when a minimum of visible hardware is desired or when the door must swing free of its frame. It is mortised into the top and bottom of the door and frame; only the pivot is visible. The leaf measures 1-3/8" [35 mm] x 5/16" [8 mm] x 1/8" [3 mm]. The hinge is sold in pairs and installation instructions are available.

Stout and finely crafted. Hinge pin fits snug with no gap square and flat. Fit mortise snugly. No doubt about the quality and performance
The hinge itself is good but the screws are terrible, even the steel one. One of them broke inside so I had to get it out, but in general all the heads were stripped. Yes I predrilled, applied wax, used the right bit and used the steel screw first.
To me these hinges do not attract attention by standing out against the rest of the cabinet they were installed in. There are just four small semi circles at the corners, leaving the front of any cabinet free. I will clearly stick to them in the future.As with all other hardware I've had from Brusso, these hinges were of impeccable accuracy and precision; something that went a long way towards facilitating their installation, as I could rely upon the set up of one marking gauge and one sliding T-square for all my marking out, thereby not having hold a hinge part firmly on the work piece, while marking out along it.The installation document and the one on dimensions were helpful, particularly when also having to negotiate the installation of ball catches. Nevertheless, and despite having watched a number of videos, the installation, using hand tools, did come with some challenges. Practicing is very probably a good idea, and a complete pilot project is perhaps something to be considered.They are made to imperial dimensions, and it was for me easier to stick to those, than converting to metric ones.The provided steel pilot screws were utterly welcome.
